One thing that can substantially raise the fee charged by your wedding officiant is the need to have him or her present at your rehearsal. Often, the wedding rehearsal will take an hour or more. This is a justifiable expense, but often, the officiant is giving up the chance to perform another wedding during the time that he or she is conducting your rehearsal and your officiant is, in essence, traveling to and performing your ceremony twice.
As your officiant, we are your counsel and co-creator of your wedding ceremony. We strive to create your ceremony to say exactly what is in your hearts.
To save you this extra expense, Wedding Officiants of Ohio suggest that you have your wedding coodinator conduct your rehearsal or conduct your rehearsal on your own. We will work with your director or coordinator by phone or email, at no additional charge. We can also offer you our rehearsal outline notes so that you can conduct your own rehearsal and save the added expense of our services of attending the rehearsal.
We do offer our services as Wedding Coordinators
We are willing, if available, and are perfectly capable of conducting your wedding rehearsal.
If you do require our services at the Wedding Rehearsal, please understand that you are also hiring us as your Wedding Coordinator for that day and additional fees will incur and a separate contract must be signed.
Our Rehearsal or Wedding Coordinator fees are also reflected on our Fees page.
